It is a reputation of which we are proud and are committed to maintaining. All enquiries are answered and we give a written quotation for works, detailing the extent of the works and what is to happen to the arisings.
Our staff are all trained and qualified to a high standard. All have National Proficiency Test Council (NPTC) certificates for chainsaw use and Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS ) cards for working on building sites. Key members of staff hold the Arboricultural Association Professional Member status of M.Arbor.A.
We have always expected high standards of skill and commitment from our staff and believe they are a vital asset to the company.
With this in mind we have regular training sessions to maintain high standards and ensure that our staff provide a modern and safe arboricultural service.
All personnel are qualified to carry out arboricultural works to British Standard 3998:2010 and we carry full public liability insurance.
We believe our personnel are the best in their field and we ensure that everyone is fully competent to work to the quality level and specifications demanded by the job they do.
Health and Safety
We have a comprehensive Health and Safety system in place and carry out risk assessments on all projects. Method statements are provided where neccessary to run in conjunction with the Risk Assessments and highlight any difficulties that may be encountered.
We ensure our services are at minimal cost to the environment by the use of biodegradable oil in our chainsaws, our waste disposal techniques ensure that we recycle the maximum amount of debris from our work.
We inspect sites prior to carrying out work to ensure we do not destroy nesting bird sites or bat roosts and have a minimum impact on other habitats.
As part of our recycling, we work with the firm of Ken Coulson who removes any reusable timber to be converted into firewood. This is seasoned and sold in quantities ranging from single sacks to vehicle loads. If you require firewood ring 01207 236 214.
Woodchips are taken to our yard to be stored and then given various uses from mulches and footpaths in gardens to bedding for cattle and horses. If you require woodchips, they can be collected from our yard or delivery can be arranged.
