Olivers Tree Services Ltd was established in 1982 by David Oliver, based in County Durham we have since become one of the largest tree care organisations in the North East of England.
We provide a complete service across the arboricultural spectrum for both commercial and private clients. Our working area covers Northern England and Southern Scotland.
We pride ourselves in providing:

As an Arboricultural Association approved contractor with Investors in People status we are currently working towards ISO 9001:2000.
Our staff are all trained and qualified to a high standard . All have National Proficiency Test Council (NPTC) certificates for chainsaw use and Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS ) cards for working on building sites. Two key members of staff have recently been awarded the Arboricultural Association Professional Member status of M.Arbor.A.
Olivers Tree Services are also Lantra Awards training provider.
Our contracting work consists of tree felling, pruning, planting and cable bracing of amenity trees. A stump removal service is also provided.
We have a wide range of supplementary equipment for the removal of heavy timber.
We have insurance cover for:
- Public Liability Insurance to £5,000,000
- Professional Indemnity Insurance to £500,000
- Employers Liability Insurance to £10,000,000
